Laura Lamb – Advisor
Laura Lamb is the director of the company and one of our advisors. Laura has spent nearly 20 years in the mortgage industry, working in compliance, banking and estate agency. Laura’s background and wealth of experience means that she is skilled at finding the best lenders to fit the more complex lending requirements of clients.
When Laura isn’t at the office she enjoys spending time with her young family and trying new creative hobbies.
Julie French – Advisor
Julie French is a Mortgage and Protection Advisor. Julie has spent over 12 years advising clients across Oxfordshire and recently joined the company from a corporate estate agency. Julie’s real passion is helping clients to achieve their purchasing goals.
Julie enjoys swimming and spending time with her young family.
Gary Hooper - Life Insurance Administrator
Gary Hooper is our Protection and Insurance Specialist. Gary has a wealth of experience in the Finance Industry having spent over 30 years in various roles advising clients on a wide range of insurance products. Gary has worked closely with Laura and The Mortgage Company for many years and is delighted to now be joining the team.
Gary is a “born again” runner and can be found every weekend pounding the streets of Oxfordshire training for his next half marathon.
Jane Seaman - Compliance Administrator
Jane Seaman has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Jane has a wealth of knowledge and experience especially when it comes to all things compliance. She spends a lot of her time keeping up to date with the ever changing lender criteria and FCA rules. Jane has been with The Mortgage Company for over 10 years. Working for the mortgage company led to Jane finding her significant other in the form of our loyal postie!
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her partner, reading, visiting museums and going to the cinema.
Laura Calley - Mortgage Administrator
When she isn’t at work Laura is busy spending time with her husband and little girl. She loves spending time with family and friends and enjoys baking. Laura’s favourite place to visit is New York.
Maria Jervis - Receptionist
Maria Jervis is our front of house receptionist. Maria is always ready to greet clients with a welcoming smile and a cappuccino. Maria spends a lot of her day speaking with clients, arranging meetings for our advisors and inputting client data into our systems. Maria joined us straight out of school as an apprentice and has since progressed to do her level 3 qualification.
Maria enjoys shopping but her real love is her family and friends.
Emma Skinner - Social Media Assistant
Emma has been with The Mortgage Company since 2017. Emma remains part of the TMC family, but she now works part time from home helping with Social Media.
When Emma isn’t working for The Mortgage Company, Emma runs her own local floristry business Cowshed Flowers where she runs workshops and designs floral installations.
