Julie worked exceptionally hard to navigate us through the maze of setting up a mortgage. Without her it would have been a complete nightmare. I’d initially made contact with TMC back in October last year to see if a potential pipe dream of purchasing a residential property in Scotland whilst retaining my current property was possible. Laura Lamb and the team at The Mortgage Company have been absolutely amazing, we can’t thank them enough. Less than a month ago, I didn’t know if buying a new home was even achievable for us, but knew from previous positive experiences that Laura would be the lady to ask. Within two weeks of our initial meeting with her, we received a mortgage offer this morning for exactly what we needed. She makes the whole process calm, gives clear explanations of different options available and supports in making a decision. Uploading our documents was easy and the work behind the scenes was seamless. Every phone call and email with the team left me feeling reassured and confident. Everyone has been friendly and approachable, even when I think I’ve asked a silly question! The Mortgage Company (and Laura in particular) have been so helpful!
